We are very proud to announce that our very own Emily Thomas was part of the Welsh Women’s Artistic Gymnastics team who competed in the Commonwealth Games, Australia in April 2018.

The team secured 4th place in the team competition.

In the individual competition Emily just missed out on a place in the All-Around Final, due to the two gymnasts per country rule, but her powerful floor routine saw her qualify for the floor final.

A fantastic first Commonwealth Games for Emily – and we pass on her thanks for all the support the parents, gymnasts and coaches at Pen-y-bont Gymnastics Club have given her.
